Rage Against the Machine

Why is it I'm the last guy to know that I'm raging and dismayed?

How did Roy Edroso of The Village Voice find that out before I did? And if I'm so PO'd and upset, why don't I feel any differently?

Here I thought I was in a pretty good mood today.

It All Depends on the Meaning of the Word "Assist"

The U.S. military wants to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials. [More]
How?

I thought the function of the military was to fight enemies...?

In the Pocket

M.D. Creekmore of The Survivalist Blog talks "pocket pistols."

I'd say any reader who questions including it must be better at predicting all potentialities than I'll ever be. [More]

Palm Pistol Progress

From Matt Carmel:
The Palm Pistol is progressing. The non-provisional utility and design patents have been filed along with trademarks for Palm Pistol and Constitution Arms. The internal action has been designed and my engineer is working to create the final production drawings with tolerances and finishes. Hopefully I will have my first prototypes by the end of the year.

Do you realize how hard you have to try to beat out the slimeballs inhabiting this cesspool?

And this is the machine that gave us The Lightworker, peace be upon him.

All these damned criminal parasites who want to disarm us...

It is all just so obvious. How anyone can be so thick or brainwashed or ignorant that they don't see what's going on is the great mystery of our age. That they allow themselves to be that way is a squandering of the great human inheritance: being endowed with a mind.

No wonder the "leaders" epitomize obscene betrayal. How could they possibly exemplify anything else?

We're the Only Ones Not Under Attack Enough

But now, officers need not be under attack to open fire. [More]
So they think rules of engagement can be unilaterally changed? And they'll be the "Only Ones" so inclined?

You guys sure you really want to go there?

Forget it, Jake, it's Chi-Town.

We're the Only Ones Impacting Violent Crime Enough

Bannerman punched, choked and pushed her to the floor during the argument, prosecutors said. [More]
Now wait a minute--how is Baltimore's Violent Crime Impact Division supposed to get along without the services of a professional with such first-hand experience?

All I can say is, thank goodness he was an "Only One" so that three year sentence could be suspended to 10 days.

Ethics, Laura Richardson Style

Richardson bought the house in the tree-lined upper-middle-class Curtis Park neighborhood for $535,000 in early 2007 after she was elected to the Assembly. She already owned two houses, one in her Long Beach district and the other in San Pedro. She has defaulted six times on both homes. [More]
Hey, who better to not live up to her personal financial obligations than a California urban democrat? How I can ever meet MY obligations when Laura with her Congressional salary and health care and retirement perks can't is beyond me. But thank goodness we have childless deadbeat collectivists to make sure people raising kids like me pay our fair share.

So naturally, F-rated Laura voted against guns in National Parks, against gun in Washington DC, for microstamping...

See, she doesn't think you and me are ethical enough to own guns without her oversight and consent--which she doesn't give, by the way.

Perhaps you'd like to ask her about that? And remember what all the access-dependent gun lobby groups tell you--Be Polite!

After all, she was endorsed by the prestigious Brady Campaign, and we all know how ethical they are.

We're the Only Ones Giving Electroshock Therapy Enough

Mobile, Ala., police allegedly used a stun gun on a deaf and mentally disabled man to get him to leave a bathroom at a store, police records show...

...Antonio Love, who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, told his family through sign language that he was in the bathroom because he was sick to his stomach. [More]
Let's just hope he's smart enough to realize that when an "Only One" gives you an order, you obey NOW. Or else.

That goes for the rest of you, too.

I'll bet that made the victim shake his money-maker.

I couldn't help but notice it says the "Only One" shot him in the back.

We're the Only Ones "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!" Enough

One of the most startling incidents was when a Fabrique National 57, an assault pistol used to kill big game, was found in a victim's car by detectives investigating a double-homicide last year in North Hollywood.

"You use it on large lions, tigers and bears," said LAPD Deputy Chief Michel Moore, commander of the Valley Bureau. [More]
What an idiot.

The "Only One" and the "Authorized Journalist"...

I saws the "Updated 04/02" rev note and my first thought was this had to be an April Fool's joke.

NYPD Anti-Gun Zealotry Extends to Flintlocks

And why are the cops still busting his chops when the law seems clear?

"The lead detective on the case told Littlejohn's lawyer that he had orders 'from higher-ups' to pursue the case..." [
More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at how insanely vindictive the Bloomberg anti-citizen defense machine has become, resorting to extra-legal measures to extort a citizen into complying with their agenda, rather than with the law.

Tell a friend? It would be nice to see a legal defense fund set up to bloody the bully's nose. It would also be nice to see more light thrown on this, to unmask some of the currently-anonymous enforcers and the creature giving them their orders.
