We're the Only Ones...

...Refinancing Autos Enough
[T]he police and the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office refused to release most of the patrons' cars unless they paid $900, plus towing and storage fees.
...Amending Our Accident Report Enough
A city police officer faces a 30-day suspension after he allegedly hit a fleeing suspect with his patrol car...That story is different than the initial reports of the incident...
You know, the one where they said he tripped...

...Making a Surprise Entrance Enough

Moreno Valley police say they thought they were dealing with a burglar when they got into a fatal confrontation at a home last week.

But family members of the man they shot, Jose Ruiz, say he was entering his own home after locking himself out.

... Spreading Fear and Mistrust Enough
"I am afraid to call police if someone breaks in my house," said Curtis James. "They might shoot me, tase me for nothing."

..."Who can you trust, if you can't trust the police?" asked James. "Who can you trust? It makes no sense for them to do stuff like that."
..."For the Children" Enough
Why was city police Sgt. David Schauwecker allowed to remain on duty after a criminal investigation into his possible possession of child pornography had begun.
...Making an Offer You Can't Refuse Enough
The former police chief of the Chicago suburb of Melrose Park was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison for having his officers work as security men for his company while on duty and pressuring businesses to use their services.

GRE Round Up for Feb. 20

There's some good stuff being turned out. I hope you're availing yourself of it, and importantly, sharing these links.

A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."

These people work hard to change that and ask for nothing from those of us their labors serve other than to help spread the word. I hope no one thinks that's too much to ask.

Here are their latest offerings:

Ed Stone/Atlanta:
GA Bills: SB 342 removes the government's power to seize guns

John Longenecker/Los Angeles:
Safer Streets 2010: Schooling O'Reilly.

Dave Workman/Seattle:
Parks gun regulations change Monday while anti-gun hysteria never changes

That All Depends on the Meaning of the Word...

...and who's doing the defining.

Is 'Gun Group' Giving Cover for Oregon Gun Control?

"What they HAVE done is give cover to the anti-gun politicians who can now say that a 'gun group' supports overturning the progress we made with your help last year." [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a resurfaced state gun rights group with a problematic past and present.
