Longenecker's latest... [Read]

We're the Only Ones Unplanned Enough

The accidental discharge was just one of 29 unplanned shootings by the city's police officers since 2005, when the department began tracking all shots fired, planned or otherwise. [More]
Not just "Only Ones." San Francisco "Only Ones."

Hey, it's not like an example hasn't been set for them by top management...

Return to Snitchland: We're the Only Ones Taking Tips Enough

Ross and another woman, Malva Delley, are accused of collecting $250,000 in rewards for bogus tips to the Crime Stoppers program for more than five years. [More]
Gee, anonymous snitch lines lend themselves to abuses. By cops.

Who knew?

This is actually quite a useful bit of information to have--the next time there's some gun "buyback" or snitch line promising anonymity and no questions asked, here's proof that questions are asked, masks are publicly ripped off, and punishment will be meted out.

Snitchland

The individual was talking on a cell phone at the time of the incident. It's likely that is the object the passerby identified as a gun. [More]
Yeah, that's the kind of country I want to live in!

This Week On American Trigger Sports Network

In case you missed it. [Read]

We're the Only Ones Looking for a Moron Enough

Now that's funny. [More]

Doesn't seem
like they have to
look all that hard,
does it?

Ceding Ground

We urge you to restore the right to open carry handguns... [More]
No man has authority to do that, and we don't want to encourage anyone to think they do. You need to insert "recognition of" in there.
We acknowledge that limiting the privilege to conceal handguns in Florida to those over 21 years of age via a fee based permit system is a reasonable exercise of our state's police powers...
No, no, no. I don't acknowledge that at all.

Sorry, Sean. I don't mean to rain on your parade, and I'm glad you're showing initiative and leadership, but this could benefit from some review and revision work.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Sarah Brady Paradise...

Airport bans toy soldier's three-inch rifle from plane... because it's a safety threat
and
So much for airport security: Man 'smuggled 80 guns into Britain' by hiding them in suitcases
At least they have their priorities straight, eh wot?

The Right of the People NOT to Keep and Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed

Pacifists, too, have Second Amendment rights. [Right]
I agree with Mr. Madison:
In what was to become the second amendment, the right to bear arms, Madison proposed a recognition of the rights of what we would call conscientious objectors: "no person religiously scrupulous of bearing arms, shall be compelled to render military service in person."
That doesn't mean they have the right to impose their superstitions on me--matter of fact, one would think the First Amendment would specifically prohibit the government enforcing such dogma. That is, if honest men made laws and honest men judged based on them.

As for disparaging either hunting or self-defense or even militia capabilities of air guns, tell that to this guy.

Within Reason

It seems no restriction is reasonable for some of these gun-loving lawmakers. [More]

That seems reasonable to me. Much more reasonable than Journal Gazette editors blood-dancing and acting like they've given good reason to further enslave and endanger their countrymen with their fascist useful idiocy.

I wonder if "Authorized Cartoonist" Gary Varvel got either knee or jaw cramps drawing the accompanying illustration, and if he used the same McGruff for his model...? I mean, all things considered, it seems reasonable.

Resurrection

Go for it. [Read]

It looks like comment posters are handing these fools their hind quarters.

We're the Only Ones Making It Up as We Go Along Enough

The LAUSD police officer who said he was shot and wounded in a confrontation with an armed suspect outside a Woodland Hills high school has been arrested, accused of making up the whole story. [More]
I'm sure it was the first time for him.

And I'm sure he was the "Only One."

No?

And best of all, they won't have to remove this shooting from their guncrime statistics that they use to justify disarming you and me!

Renewal

And here we thought a long sleep meant we'd awaken refreshed...[Read]

What do ‘sporting purposes’ have to do with Second Amendment?

The sporting purposes/militia suitability fraud gives the government cover for the perfect Catch-22 pincer strategy/squeeze play: You can’t have this gun because it has military characteristics.  And you can’t have this gun because it doesn’t have military characteristics.  [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a rigged outcome.
