ATF agents put careers on line to report management abuses

Tellingly, and in spite of the personal risks, with documented examples of retaliation endured, they pledge [with emphasis in the original]:
The authors of this action will testify before Congress or meet with the Director without the benefit of counsel and will not invoke their right to the attorney client privilege if the agency heads will do the same. The truth remains the truth negates the need to hide behind legal representation.

Vanderboegh Medical Update

I spoke with Mike again this morning when he called me from the Intensive Care Unit at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham.

He took four steps yesterday and will be walking again today.  In a milestone for gastrointestinal surgery recovery, he did want me to share that he has managed to...uh...expel methane twice now, and he dedicated the first occurrence to Eric Holder and the second to Little Jimmy Vann.

And he read a newspaper for the first time after surgery. He hurt himself laughing when he found out Defense Secretary Leon Panetta ordered U.S. Marines in Afghanistan to disarm for his visit, and wonders if perhaps he's feeling a bit guilty about that Constitutional oath he took...

Now for my reminder: Hold up on the emails and trying to post comments over at Sipsey Street. Have mercy on the guy, because you know he'll try to address every one, and we need to help him rest and recover.  Our inputs can wait.

If you want to communicate with him:
Support can still be sent via the donation button at Sipsey Street Irregulars, and to   P.O. Box 926, Pinson, AL 35126.  He’ll be in the hospital for some time, but flowers are not allowed in ICU.  Cards can be sent to him via Trinity Medical Center, 800 Montclair Road, Birmingham, AL 35213.

And it looks like we have someone interested in Mike's health reports:
