Deceptive mainstream reporting shows pervasive anti-gun agenda

The problem was, the 'ugly gun' didn’t produce the desired results, so another gun was used to generate them. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner shows what lying sacks occupy the "mainstream media."  But then, anyone who's been following "Gunwalker" knows that.

Also, enjoy some watermelon with the late, great Neal Knox.

We're the Only Ones Lee Paige Award Finalists Enough

An off-duty Chicago police officer was shot when her gun accidentally discharged about 7:20 p.m. Thursday, police said. [More]
I guess that sounds better than "she negligently shot herself"...?

Gee, if this can happen to a trained professional, thank goodness they make it so difficult for amateurs like you and me to go armed there.

Forget it, Jake, it's Chi-Town.

Mr. Obama, Tear Down That Wall!

It’s time for the stonewall to come down...[More]

Jeff Knox brings us up to date on Gunwalker in this excellent overview.

This Is How They Show Respect

What an obviously weasel-wording wormtongue this self-contradicting corporate mouthpiece is. I wonder if respectful ol' Dwayne here would be willing to instruct store managers to sign one of these:

XaqFixx has the full story on this life-endangering insult to millions of decent and responsible American gun owners:

We don't have Bi-Los up in my neck of the woods, but I can tell you if there were, there are plenty of other places I can choose from that are competing for my money and that wouldn't rather see me dead than armed.  "Sound business judgment" cuts both ways. Any customer who puts up with this level of disrespect is evidently content to be a Bi-Lo bitch.

Facepalm

I just don’t see how our gun laws could have stopped something like that. [More]
So California's #1 rating just isn't restrictive enough. And anybody who suggests there's a slippery slope is nuts.

As a matter of fact, they apparently insisted on it.

A Guilty Plea

I can't help but wonder what kind of deal was made in terms of keeping mouths shut.  [Read]

I wonder if they had the presence of mind to set up an "if I die in prison" insurance policy that names names?

On the plus side, I note the "Authorized Journalists" didn't refer to Gunwalker as "a botched operation" this time.

They used "bungled."

Vanderboegh Medical Update

Abscess makes the heart grow fonder, or some such... [Read]

As you can see, Mike is back to blogging--from the hospital. At least it isn't a leak.

Supporters: We naturally all recognize that this is putting a tremendous strain on already depleted family resources. Those of us fortunate enough to be able to pony up a day's hospital parking lot charges without batting an eye might not stop to realize that for others, it means shorting something else. Those able to help alleviate some of that can either use the "Donate" button on Sipsey Street or do things the old fashioned way: P.O. Box 926, Pinson, AL 35126.

Personally, I don't care for rattling-seed-change-in-a-cup donation solicitations. I've recommended before, if you get value from Mike's work, returning that value in the form of a voluntary subscription, say, a buck a month, is the appropriate and moral way to go.
