We're the Only Ones Discharged Enough

Forever Chi-Town. [More]

And another blast from the past...

National Geographic gun expose instead exposes journalistic bias

The “investigators” have to create the illusion that their intrepid reporter is descending into the belly of the underworld, because that’s how the can manipulate low-information viewers to “feel” the way they want them to about private sales -- nasty, dangerous criminal interactions, that no one prudent or respectable would want anything to do with. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report asks who will expose the exposers--if not us?

A Prohibited Person

Hey, enforce existing gun laws, right? [More]

Or what's the other one?  "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime"...?

Journey to Nowhere

I guess "shall not be infringed" has hidden travel qualifiers. [More]

UPDATE: I recalled after I posted this that Steve D. Jones addressed this here and here.

Which I guess means there's gonna be a fight?

RIP

Fists of Fury

As this article from last year with similarities to another story confirms, deadly force can be justified against an "unarmed" teenager. [More]

If you live there, your immediate attention and action are required. [More]

We're the Only Ones Harassing Enough

Y'know, I don't automatically believe her, either. Get cozy with the boss, what the hell do you think is going to happen? [More]

All those years working in a corporate environment before I was married and I never once thought it appropriate to fish from the company dock, and especially with someone either higher OR lower in the chain of command.  I always considered the latter abusive and just plain unfair to someone who is there to earn a living, not put up with advances.

You separate professional from personal. That's also why I never stood for Management By Terror types screaming at me, and as a result, they never did, because as soon as they started working up to it, I made it crystal clear there was a line I would not allow to be crossed.

Never want a job so badly you're willing to compromise your dignity.  If you realize the worst thing they can do is fire you, and then compare that life event on a scale of one to 10 to, say, losing a loved one, well, it kind of puts it all in perspective.

Trail to Nowhere

I'm trying to figure out just what the hell the story is here, and all I can come up with is Todd C. Frankel doesn't want us freely buying ammo. [More]

We're the Only Ones Men...uh...Dental Enough

James Angelo Palermo, Police Officer, Arrested For Knocking Woman's Teeth Out In Illegal Arrest [More]
Sounds like both apply...

Ain't it something--the HuffPo sees this kind of stuff all the time, yet still champions a state monopoly of violence.  Look at all the comments from good little "progressives" expressing the knowledge that this is not atypical.  Now ask the same people about a truly progressive and egalitarian power-sharing arrangement, and then brace yourself for the redneck insults.

Talk about mental.

Supergun

Trust me, the antis will be dragging out the Kryptonite any day now... [More]

Targeted Over Beliefs?

This is so easy for me to buy into. [More]

Especially recalling Red's.

I'll be looking at this a bit more closely. I'd like to nail down the nature and scope of the "violations," and then bounce that against known revocation "inconsistencies."

What Defines a Terrorist

Kurt touches on a fundamental that should be relevant for everything "compromise" and "deal"-related: We don't negotiate with terrorists. [More]
