Los Angeles Magazine Ban Invites Ridicule, Defiance and Contempt

That was a major talking point at a rally outside City Hall featuring citizen disarmament advocates and publicity-seeking politicians behind the “We Don’t Trust You with Essentially the Same Technology Used in Pez Dispensers Act..” [More]

Feed the Troll

Comment left under my latest TTAG piece:
Hopefully a full fledged “Gun-rights” terrorist nut bag will waltz into the NRA headquarters and blast up the place, then we might see.them change there tune and fight for a no sell registry.
I look on "common sense gun safety advocates" like "Willy_Lunchmeat," who give us these little glimpses of what they're all about, as a gift.

Seller, Out Thyself

Just a few days before the universal gun owner registration bill kicks in, it appears that the Oregon State Police are planning on collecting data on sellers of guns, not just buyers. [More]
You know who they can't require that of, right?

Now That You've Walked Out of Our First Performance, Here's Act Two

Except the legally-required fine print says "No Purchase Necessary," not that I expect anything but self interest über alles from rapping "architect" MC Rove:

He can't be beat because he's so white from his head to his feet.
Yeah, really.

And there's something else the fine print says:
The Promotion is open only to U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent U.S. residents who are legal residents (green card holders) of the 50 United Sates, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia...
So the ones cleaning up after them will need to wait a bit.

About Last Night

More than anything else, a Thomas Pynchon quote comes to mind. Especially while watching the Luntz post-game wrap-up.

Anyone who's read my past assessments of him knows I'm no Trumpeter. But after watching last night's total and undisguised virtual assassination attempt by Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace, and continued (and wholly unjustified) crowing by Liz Peek and other establishment media whores in their desperate attempts to manipulate public opinion, my low opinion of controlled opposition Faux News just sank even deeper.

These media conspirators-- what else would you call them? -- aren't really attacking The Donald -- he's just an avatar for people attracted to him because they're sick and tired of all the evil bullshit and don't know where to turn, but know it's not toward the RINOs. Those are the ones the elitists really have contempt for.

It looks from where I'm sitting, despite desperate attempts to convince everyone otherwise, like the hit job backfired and all the damage was from blowback. Look for the politics of personal destruction to go to the next level. And if that doesn't work, I won't be surprised to see things get even more personal.

The Rest of the Story

A group of residents in northern Idaho lined up outside a U.S. Navy veteran's house on Thursday to protest claims that federal officials are planning on confiscating the man's weapons. [More]
Oath Keepers were there. Once again taking point.

You know who the guy at the start of the video looks like? Anthony Bosworth. Who once again leads by example.
