See You on the Other Side

I'll be gone all day tomorrow working the polls, as I have every election for the past several years. On Wednesday I expect to be occupied most of the day doing a post-election analysis for the magazine, which will give me a one-day deadline before that issue has to be put to bed.

Bottom line, I don't expect the workload to return to "normal" (12+ hour days) until Thursday or so. If your comments don't get posted or your emails/news tips/social media overtures acknowledged, please consider the counsel of V.I.N.CENT:

God bless and protect us.

‘Progressive’ Media Attacks Oath Keepers for Monitoring Elections against Intimidation and Fraud

The “progressive” entitlement mentality—that some can victimize others with impunity, and that if a victim resists and prevails the fault is his – is as offensively delusional as it is un-American. Couple that with the “progressive” demand for citizen disarmament and it’s evil, dangerous and intolerable.

Tripwires

Join us on Monday, November 7th from 8:00 to 9:30PM Central Standard Time, where we will discuss possible Constitutional crisis “tripwires” surrounding this election and what are proper responses, under the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, if the usurping oligarchs cross those tripwires. Who Watches the Watchmen?

An obscure private firm hired by the State Department over internal objections to protect U.S. diplomats in Benghazi just months before the American ambassador and three others were killed was staffed with hastily recruited locals with terror ties who helped carry out the attack, multiple sources told Fox News. [Fox News dneies active links from here: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/11/07/benghazi-guards-turned-on-us-diplomats-in-2012-attack-sources-say.html ]
That "news" has been out there for a while, at least about Blue Mountain being the inexplicable contractor of choice. In terms of guards turning on their charges, there's only one thing to say:

Rigorous.

This is what ought to be looked at more closely.

If they end up having reason to stay, what they will then be in a positon to demand will be incompatable with those of us who realize there's no place to flee to, and who aren't going anywhere.

So the pushing will continue and get more intolerable. We'll just have to see what kind of pushback that results in.  Some may be astounded.

This Would Make a for an Apt 'Twilight Zone' Episode Treatment

A woman, old, frail and bespectacled, is walking hesitantly through a thick fog, unable to determine which way to proceed. She hears the sounds of children laughing and playing and makes out their silhouettes in the distance. She approaches and they come into view -- she reaches out in hope.

They reach back, horribly disfigured and burned, dragging her into their...what did her opinion-shapers call their community? Oh, yeah, a "compound."

It ends in hellfire.
