We're the Only Ones 'Bing Bing Binnng! Ricochet Rabbit!' Enough

Watch as trained professional Brian Pounds (left in the POLICE sweatshirt) plays with a .22 and surprises himself with a shot, which banks nicely off the cinderblock wall and strikes fellow trained professional Rick Treadwell (seated far right, in POLICE sweatshirt) in the hand. [More]
Misdemeanor reckless conduct with a firearm? Seems to me that would have applied before "the gun accidentally went off." Nothing for reckless endangerment or criminal negligence?

Nice of the victim (the one who was actually hit, anyway) to say he didn't want charges filed.  Think he'd do it for you and me, or is that just professional courtesy?

The really sad thing about this is that Wannamacher's policy is all firearms have to be unloaded and zip-tied within the show.

This guy was HIRED by Wannamacher's to ENFORCE that policy. (He's a reserve deputy - the Sheriff's dept provides security for the fairgrounds) - Wannamacher's disarmament policy requires "extra" deputies be brought in to handle all the firearms the dealers are bringing in.

It's unrelated to this negligence - it's just irksome that this is the dweeb that would be disarming ME at the door.
